Why a lugger truck instead of the more common roll-off truck body (which we also make)?

Lugger truck bodies have a different  geometry that shifts weight forward compared to a roll-off truck.  While a roll-off truck can carry a greater volume than a lugger truck, the lugger truck can carry a higher payload.  This is an advantage for dense loads like some types of scrap steel where the weight limit is reached before volume is an issue.

This model is a sliding body which improves things further.  After loading, the bed of the body can be slid forward to move weight to the front axle.
